💼 The UK workforce has reached nearly 35M

The United Kingdom’s labour force reached nearly 35 million in 2024, reflecting its population size, high workforce participation rates, and an ageing but still active working population. Strong participation in services, healthcare, and technology sectors supports this total, while immigration and flexible employment policies help sustain labour availability. The trend highlights the UK’s role as a major advanced economy with a diversified workforce. Policies such as the UK Employment Rights Act, implemented by the UK Government, regulate labour participation and workforce protections.
⚕️ Koreans average around 20 doctor visits per person per year

In 2023, Korea led with 18 doctor consultations per person, while several European countries like Türkiye, the Netherlands, and Germany also report high rates. Strong primary care access in Korea drives health coverage and access to quality well-being. Similarly, European systems with strong public healthcare networks and easy access to physicians maintain higher per capita consultations. To live healthily, it is important to have access to consultations with doctors without out-of-pocket expenses.
🏭 China’s sustainable manufacturing research prioritised green manufacturing

In 2024, green manufacturing accounted for nearly 40% of sustainable manufacturing research in China, reflecting a strong focus on reducing environmental impact in production. Studies prioritise cleaner processes, low-emission materials, and circular economy approaches to meet both regulatory requirements and global sustainability goals. The high share indicates China’s commitment to integrating environmental considerations and the green transformation of China’s manufacturing industry.
