โ๏ธ Indian undergraduate enrolments increase by over 5M

Undergraduate enrolments in India increased by more than 5M students between 2015 and 2022. The upward trend reflects expanding access to higher education and growing demand for university qualifications among young people. Rising enrolments also signal a larger future workforce with tertiary skills supporting economic development. The National Education Policy 2020, implemented by the Government of India, aims to expand higher education participation and improve institutional capacity.
๐ French regions top EU crop value shares

Several regions in the European Union reported crop output shares above 84% in 2023, including four regions in France. The data shows crop production dominating agricultural value in many regions with favourable climates, specialised farming systems, and strong market access. Mediterranean and peri-urban regions often focus on high value crops such as fruits, vegetables, and wine. The Common Agricultural Policy implemented by the European Commission supports regional agricultural productivity and sustainability.
๐ค The United States led global military spending

Global military spending remains highly concentrated among a few major economies. In 2025, the United States recorded the largest defence budget in the world. The gap reflects differences in economic size, global security commitments, and the size of its defence sector. Advanced technological and manufacturing requirements significantly drive prices and increase demand. Other countries, including Germany, the United Kingdom, and India, maintain relatively smaller but still substantial budgets.
